Obama Video Game

'Video Game' There has been a new online video game made about new president Obama. The game is called Super Obama World. It is like the old game super Mario but has new changes to it. The monsters in the game are Sarah Palin and Dogs wearing lipstick. In the game there are Luxury stores such as Neiman Marcus, and Saks fifth avenue. Those stores are in the game in reference to the republicans spending $150,000 on Sarah Palins wardrobe.
My response to this new video game is wow that sounds fun. It has everything in it to make a video game about Republicans vs Democrats. One thing that I don't get is that I wonder if they have had any complaints about it from any of the political party's. This is one of many games that have been put on the Internet about Obama. But this one goes far as to be on the news and to have such detail.

Free Pizza!!!

"Free Pizza in Lakewood if rays win" A man named John Keiley who owns a pizza restaurant in Lakewood is going to give out free pizza if the Tampa baseball team wins the World series. John has gave out a couple thousand pizzas so far for other sports wins. John really likes the Tampa Rays and he hates the Phillie's so that is why he is doing that. When the Rockies sweep ed the Yankees he gave out over 1600 pizzas.
I say that this man is gonna be very poor if the Tampa bay rays win. I would think that he would go out of business if he gave away this many pizzas. But this seems like a good cause doing this because he will be able to feed people who don't have money if they hear about this. If anything the only thing good that they get is Tampa Ray memorabilia for free from the Rays. Also what I find crazy is that they wanna do this again.

science and video games that dosent make sense.

"Video Games and Science" The blog is about how some video games are having kids use science in them. Some guy named Dr. Steinkuehler did research on the subject and found it to be true. Some kids that play a game called Lineage are using hypothesis and other science terms to help out in this game. They say things like "the water lord is susceptible to fire spells". this are things kids use in video games to help them in a a problem.
I think that this is very interesting that kids are using science terms to help them in there daily life. I play video games and have never noticed that you use scientific thinking in the process of figuring things out. Personally this seems to me as if this could be a learning game if you use science in the game. I cant belive that kids also would use mathematical problems and excel spread sheets to help in the game. Some kids that I know to be video game addicts would never do things as hardcore as this. This brings a new meaning to video games to me if kids are using these things to help in video games.

Did you know thirst

“Did you know thirst” A knew slide show that takes after “Did you know” called thirst sure takes on the world. The slide show was about the shortage of water and how the world needs water. The slide show says that we will run out of water before we run out of oil. That is very scary because we need water more than we need oil. We cant live without water for a week. Water makes up 605 of Ur body,70%of Ur brain and 80% of Ur blood. The same water that was on earth a billion years ago is still here. That is one of the most surprising facts to me personally I would never believe that. I couldn't’t believe that the earth is only 3% fresh water and that some states will run out of water in 10 to 30 years. This slide show shows a whole new meaning to saving water.
I find these facts very interesting. Some of these i already knew but most i never had heard of. It is amazing to me that people make theses slide shows and that i hardly know any of them.

People in Japan have longer life expectancy

“People in japan have longer life expectancy” people in Japan have a longer life expectancy then most other countries. There are now over 36,000 people over one hundered in the country. My response to this is wow who new that many people are over one hundered in Japan. The U N suggestes that there will be over 1 million people over the age of 100 in Japan by 2050. I thought that there would be less people over the age of 100 by the future. One reason for that thought is our economy is starting to become bad. Some 86% of the people in Japan over 100 are women. This story wows me because I never knew that so many people could live over 100.

Hurricane Ike a big disaster.

Hurricane Ike was a disaster it made landfall in Galvenston Texas. Ike tore glass from sky scrappers like there were nothing. Thousands of people did not listen to the Government when they said they should evacuate. So they all stayed in the city thinking this storm would not be very bad. They were wrong Ike eceded 110 mph winds during the storm. the storm surges were up to 25 feet high in the air. Major roads were washed out and flooded when rescuers came to help. Nearby marinas had many yachts docked there and they where all capsized after the storm.

When the Storm moved inland it disintegrated to a tropical storm but still very dangerous. Many homes in Ikes wake where heavily damaged with roofs torn off and major blackouts in the area. President Bush declared the city a disaster zone. He had millions of dollars in aid funding go to the town to help it out.A number of deaths occured but we still do not know how many yet. Production has been suspended at 14 oil refineries and 28 natural gas processing plants that were in the storm's path. Ike was one of the baddest storms ever to hit the Texas coast.
